We are all looking for something in this life. Something that is so important, something that we feel and know in our hearts that we cannot live without, we seek it in other things like drugs,alcohol, sex, and many other things … VICES. What do we seek? We seek LOVE. We seek an all-consuming love that will accept us for who we are, a love that will shield our hearts and make us strong.
Things, people, drugs, sex will not give you what you seek. What it will do is cause you to keep seeking. Things break and fall apart, people will disappoint, drugs will kill you and destroy your mind, body and family, sex will destroy you as well and leave you feeling empty, it is just a temporary pleasure, they all are. Temporary fixes, that's why you have to keep looking for more they do not satisfy.
I want to share REAL love with you today. Love that will never leave you.Love that you can count on and trust.Love that accepts you for you.Love that is unconditional, that loves you no matter what you have done in this life. This LOVE is the love of JESUS. Yes I know you’ve heard it before, (or maybe you haven’t, keep reading).
Jesus’ love for you spans time and space, his love for you will never leave, fail, or grow cold. Jesus’ love for you is an all-consuming love, you can count on Him loving you forever and you can trust Him to be there for you because He cares forYOU.
John 3:16-17 says: “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”
The gift that the Lord offers is life eternal. When you believe in the Son and accept the gift He offers, you will live forever, with the ONE WHO LOVES YOU Most, Jesus.Jesus said in John 11:24-25 : “…I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.”
Accept His love today, you don’t have to keep looking for love in things that will destroy you in the end. Accept the love Jesus has for you and LIVE eternal. Pray this prayer with me ……
“Lord Jesus I come to you now asking that you will come into my life. I believe in you Lord, I believe that you are the only begotten son of the Father and I ask that you come and live in my heart I give my life to you and I want your love. Forgive me for all my sins and I turn to you and ask you to lead and guide me in this life you have given me. Thank you Lord for your gift of salvation, love and everlasting life. Amen”
